Firstly, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  Booking a Celebrant should be your top priority after securing your venue, as a good, professional, and reliable Celebrant may be booked out as far as 12-18 months in advance, particularly during the spring, autumn, and summer months.

Over the past 17 years I have married couples from all walks of life, nationalities backgrounds, religious denominations and sexual preferences. People are drawn to me naturally not only because I’m an experienced and affordable Cheltenham Celebrant, but because they feel Comfortable, safe, heard and valued.
What has gotten me this far, is being more than a Celebrant. Being able to hold a space for them to share exactly what they need, what they envision their day to be and then taking the stress of them so that they can absorb every bit of their very special day that goes so quickly.
I’m available to travel anywhere from Cheltenham to all over Melbourne to make your day special.

To get started, the Notice of Intended Marriage Form (NOIM) must be filled out, which I can provide to you or you can download. This form must be lodged with me at least one month prior to the wedding date, and it remains valid for up to 18 months. You’ll also need to show proof of original birth certificates for identification purposes, while Australian or foreign passports are acceptable for those born overseas in lieu of a birth certificate.

If you’ve been previously married, you’ll need to provide documentary evidence of how the marriage terminated, which means a Divorce Certificate is imperative. While it isn’t necessary to have these documents at the time of booking, they must be presented to me before the wedding can take place. If you were born overseas and your birth documents have been lost or destroyed, I can assist you with a Statutory Declaration.

As a Cheltenham Wedding Celebrant, I specialize in personalizing ceremonies, which means you can choose the form of the ceremony as long as the dignity and legality of the marriage are observed. However, this doesn’t mean you must be serious and formal throughout the event – it’s your special day, so relax and have fun! I’m passionate about weddings and take great pleasure in working with couples to achieve their dreams. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that’s tailored just for you, and which reflects your love.

You’ll have complete freedom in choosing every detail of the ceremony from start to finish, and we’ll review everything before the wedding. I’ll finalize the details only when you’re 100% happy. On the big day, you can relax and enjoy your special day without any worries.
