The first step in Partner Visa support is lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage with me. This acts as your marriage licence and allows you to marry in Australia one month after it is signed and lodged. Bookings can be made from one month to 18 months in advance. Required Documentation – To ensure your paperwork is accurate, you will need to provide valid identification:

  • If born in Australia: a passport or original birth certificate, plus driver’s licence or proof of age card.
  • If born overseas: a passport or overseas birth certificate.
  • If previously married: a divorce decree or death certificate of your late spouse.

Documents in other languages must be translated by a government-approved translator, such as through NAATI.
