I’m Sharon Osman and I’m a Melbourne Wedding Celebrant servicing the Afghan community

I’m not sure what sort of wedding you are after but legal registration in Melbourne are becoming very popular. It’s a quick, no fuss and cost effective way to get married. Or you might choose to have a ceremony as well and invite family and friends. Regardless of what you choose I’m here to offer you excellent service and unbeatable value. I am currently taking bookings for Afghan Weddings for this year and next year. If you are having a big wedding overseas, you can still do a legal registration marriage now and then have your reception at a later date. As a Melbourne Celebrant conducting Afghan Marriages, I offer all my couples a simple intimate wedding at my office without a huge expense. I’m open for Weddings 7 days a week to cater for couples who are having to reschedule, and those who had to postpone due to stage 4 restrictions. Call me now and I’ll make sure I fit you in asap. All you need to do is Complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and have it witnessed at at a police station, Justice of the Peace, Doctor or myself.

For a Legal Registration Style Marriage you will also need to provide supporting documents like ID and divorce certificate if applicable. These can be scanned and emailed to me. The Notice however needs to be lodged at least a month prior to the wedding date. You can then decide on your date, time. I accept the NOIM form and your booking date, even before payment is made to make it easy for you.

You just need to turn up with your two witnesses. If it’s a good day and weather permitting I set up so you can marry in the back yard garden area. Or if it’s cold and raining then you marry in my home office.

Either way I will make it special and meaningful and you are free to take as many pictures as you like and even live stream your wedding so your family and friends don’t miss out.

If you don’t have witnesses, no worries let me know well in advance and I’ll organize them for you.

After the marriage I lodge your paperwork with BDM who then take 3 weeks to process and register your marriage. You have the option of applying for and ordering your legal certificate on your own or I can do it on your behalf. Either way it would cost you around $50.00
