As a Carlton Wedding Celebrant servicing all of Melbourne, I offer warm, personalised and professionally crafted ceremonies designed to suit every couple. Whether you are planning a legal-only marriage, an intimate elopement, a vow renewal, or a same-sex celebration, I create ceremonies that are inclusive, meaningful, and tailored entirely to you.

My focus is on making the process simple, relaxed, and enjoyable from the very first conversation. Every couple deserves a ceremony that feels genuine, heartfelt, and reflective of who they are — and that is exactly what I aim to deliver.

I’m Sharon Osman an authorised Wedding Celebrant and I’ve extend my services to Carlton and surrounding Melbourne suburbs for 17 years.

When planning a wedding, there are so many details to think about that selecting your celebrant may not always feel like the most urgent decision. However, your celebrant plays a key role in shaping the tone of your ceremony and ensuring everything flows smoothly on the day.
Most importantly you need to feel comfortable with your celebrant — they should be someone who listens, focuses on you, understands your vision, and creates a ceremony that feels natural, relaxed, and genuinely meaningful.

My Role as Your Celebrant

As a Civil Marriage Celebrant in Carlton and across Melbourne, I am authorised to legally solemnise marriages for couples choosing a non-religious ceremony. My role includes not only delivering your ceremony on the day, but also ensuring all legal requirements are correctly completed and submitted.

I take care of the important legal steps in advance of your wedding, including:

• Lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
• Verifying identification and legal documents
• Checking divorce documentation where applicable
• Managing and completing all required marriage paperwork

If your partner is overseas and entering Australia on a prospective spouse visa, I can also provide supporting documentation for immigration purposes where required.

Time is of essence and one  of the most important decisions in your wedding planning journey is selecting the right celebrant. Celebrants with strong reputations are often booked well in advance, particularly during peak wedding seasons, so it’s always a good idea to secure your celebrant early to ensure everything runs smoothly, including the timely lodgement of your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM).

It’s easy when planning a wedding to become focused on the reception and styling details, but the ceremony itself is the heart of the day — it is the moment your marriage is legally and meaningfully celebrated.
My role is to ensure your ceremony is not only legally sound, but also heartfelt, engaging, and a true reflection of your relationship, so it feels just as memorable as every other part of your celebration.

Registry-Style Ceremonies

I also offer simple registry-style marriage ceremonies, which can take place from a professional and welcoming home office space suitable for photography if desired. These can be held on weekdays or weekend mornings at my office, or at a location of your choice for a small additional travel fee.

While more simplified than a full ceremony, these services still ensure your marriage is conducted with dignity, warmth, and full legal compliance.
