Having reasonable prices is quite a risk, because people assume you’re not that good or you cut corners or you’re not professional and so on.
So why are my prices reasonably low ?

I love what I do. I’ve been doing it for 12 years and it’s my second job and passion.
I’m newly married and fully understand how expensive weddings are.
Depending on the location and type of ceremony, I cut all the frilly costs that are attached to the massive prices. I believe in “LOVE” and fully encourage marriage and aim to make it possible and affordable for everyone. Just because I’m an award winning Celebrant at the ABIA awards, its unfair to pump up my price.
Last but not least, I do need to sleep at night and I see over charging as unfair & unethical.

My services include:
I meet and let you see whether I’m the one for you.
I maintain phone and email contact with you as often as required.
I specialize In personalizing ceremonies so your ceremony will be different. It will represent you and I include all special requirements.
I tell your love story.
I provide you with a wide range of vows, readings, poems, for you to choose from.
Being in the industry for over 12 years I am very professional and organized.
I am warm and kind, sincere and compassionate. I have the added ability to keep couples calm and stress free so that they enjoy and take in their day.
I help you create a ceremony that you will truly love and remember.
I prepare and lodge all relevant paperwork.
Option to have your pictures on my website.

I arrive at least 20 minutes before your ceremony start time.
I perform your ceremony in a truly professional manner with warmth and dignity. As a Hawthorn Wedding Celebrant I’m familiar with Hawthorn venues and love what’s on offer.
I am well groomed and appropriately dressed.
I use a Professional PA system that can accommodate your music.
I prepare and present a professionally printed Marriage Certificate.

General Order of Ceremony:

Your wedding ceremony can go for as little as 5 minutes to up to 45 minutes or so, depending on how much you want to include in your ceremony. It usually lasts between 20-30mins. I will work with you to develop a custom ceremony. That said, there is a suggested general structure for a wedding ceremonies as follows:

Introduction by the Celebrant
Readings/Poems
Legal Statement (This is a mandatory statement from the Marriage Act advising that I am registered to solemnize your marriage and also of the legal binding nature of the ceremony.)
Declaration of intention to marry

Ring Exchange
Announcement of marriage
The wedding kiss
Signing of the register
Apart from the Legal wording and vows everything else is optional.

Some tips for brides:

Veils
If you want to wear a veil you should consider that management of the veil well in advance, especially if you are having an outdoor or beach wedding. Many brides love the look and feel of silk tulle veils. It is wise to keep in mind that a long silk tulle cathedral veil may not work well in an outdoor or beach wedding on a windy day as the veil can blow above your face during the ceremony. For this reason, your ceremony venue should be considered in choosing the type of veil that you wear. Remember, weather conditions can change very quickly.

Headpieces and Accessories
If you have chosen an outdoor wedding that is more casual and less traditional, many brides lay aside the traditional veils and opt for an elegant tiara, barrette and combs, headbands, back piece or wreath.

Another trend is to make use of fresh flowers. A single bold flower or a cluster of fresh blooms adds a romantic touch to your wedding hairstyle. Fresh flowers can be stored in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them.
